From our history of contracting we understand the importance of using the best quality batten more than most! Not only is fully graded batten easier to fit with less wastage over inferior batten, more importantly it is also safer to fit as it can be safely used as a foothold as recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. All battens are individually clearly stamped as required under BS:5534. Many governing bodies such as the NHBC (National House Building Council) now also require batten to be fully graded so be reassured that nothing else is stocked at Fords!
