01904 463184If your existing flat roof needs replacing the new coverings must conform to current building regulations and will need insulation to be fitted. This will generally be fitted to the top of the flat roof to create a ‘warm roof’ as this approach removes the need to ventilate the flat roof space which would be required if insulation is fitted in-between or below the roof structure. As heat rises most energy is lost through the roof so a well fitted insulated roof will enhance energy efficiency and dramatically reduce heating costs.
